06/2017 – 12/2019: European CIO for GOJO Industries

  • Integration of European entities post acquisition with the US headquarters;

  • 3000 people WW, 400 in Europe, central IT team 9 employees + contractors, 3 factories, European HQ, 1 microbio research and analyze laboratory, 3 warehouses in France, 1 logistic site in Germany, 1 other in UK, 1 Sales office in Lisbon;

  • Modernization of usages (cloud, collaborative work, digital, e-commerce);

  • Change management in organizations

    • Prepare the global organization in order to deploy a global SAP project. Strong work to train all business teams and bring the change in practices (like better usage of the Information System);

    • Set a CRM (Salesforce) and train the sales team;

  • Rebuilt French site’s technical infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN, VOIP, systems);

    • WAN between 4 sites using SDWAN techno over diversified links (Fiber, DSL, 4G);

    • LAN, change all boxes, create VLANs, add firewalls, add fibers and other cabling;

    • WLAN, optimize WiFi coverage following site surveys, setup controllers and secured access control;

    • Change the VOIP infrastructure (CISCO, redundant call manager, unified messaging, IP phones, Lone Worker Protection Devices, conference and Visio conference devices);

    • System infrastructure mixed between Cloud and OnSite relying on virtualization;

    • Backup solution using VEEAM to do backup to tape to cloud;

    • Set a security infrastructure (NextGen antivirus, Umbrella proxy, Strong authentication, firewall, bastion, …);

    • Set a system to manage access rights at every level (Filer, Database, AD, Cloud, …) based on Varonis;

    • Normalize client deployment, configuration & update management with full security (encryption, BIOS password, double authentication);

  • Built the European IT Team (infrastructure / projects / ERP / Helpdesk / security);

  • Organize a helpdesk team relying on ITIL practices, relying on IT partners in other countries;

  • Set up cyber Security, GDPR & resilience of systems; Organize Penetration Testing on physical sites and on web sites;

  • Create a response plan to cryptovirus and build a strong Disaster Recovery Plan;

    • SAIP: government app to alert population in case of crisis (terrorist attack, natural disaster)

    • Notico safe: manage safety of employees in a company, or population of a community

    • Notico city: manage relationship between population and collectivities

    • Notico delivery: manage package delivery for logistic companies such as Mondial Relay

  • 3 locations (Paris, Barcelona, Madrid) ; 5 PMs, 5 POs, 1 planner, 2 Team Leaders, 6 Ops, 2 DevOps, 9 Dev + 2 Dev Cies outsourced + 2 consultants in real time location

2002 to 2005: Functional and technical project manager in a L’Oréal plant

Technical projects

  • Manage helpdesk

  • Maintenance of 40 servers including multiple migration (Intel/Windows, Unix, MPE)

  • Migrate 2 HP server from UNIX 10.20 to 11.0

  • Develop a framework (C + UNIX scripts) to test the proper behavior of servers and network, localize issues and restore nominal functions

  • Write UNIX shell to make some software cluster aware

  • Management of backups, setting up a centralized infrastructure of backup based on Networker

  • Define and set up a high availability architecture based on 2 MDF (cluster, redundancy)

  • Leverage and organize Disaster Recovery Plan + yearly full off-site test

  • Leverage network backbone (OM3 fiber optic loop, spanning tree)

  • Setup of external warehouses (remote architecture, WAN, WiFi, apps, EAI)

 

Functional projects
